Council has engaged a contractor to complete a range of repairs and maintenance items to improve this important public facility to a clean and acceptable standard for the 2025 snow season following discussion between councillors at the May 1, council meeting earlier this month.
More substantial revitalisation works are scheduled for late 2025, after the peak ski season has concluded, and the money for these maintenance works will come off the overall budget for the eventual revitalisation later in the year.

A spokesperson for SMRC said, “Next week’s scheduled works will focus on the male toilets at the site. The male toilets at Jindabyne Town Centre will be closed to the public from Monday to Thursday next week to enable these maintenance works to be completed.”
“Alternative public toilets are located nearby at Banjo Paterson Park. Council appreciates the community’s understanding while work is underway.”
“Projects team members will be coming to Jindabyne next month to discuss the planned major renovations for this facility.”
“We will share further details about how you can get involved and have your say in a future update.”
