Snowy Monaro Regional Council (SMRC) is connecting a new water main in the Binjura/Cooma area this week, weather permitting. The water supply for properties on multiple streets in Cooma and Binjura will be temporarily unavailable while this important work is underway.

A spokesperson for SMRC said, “We do all we can to ensure water clarity isn’t negatively affected by our work, but you may still find some cloudy water coming from your taps after this interruption.”
“Run an outside tap for a few minutes after 5pm, as a precaution, to clear out any cloudy water that might have made it into the plumbing at your property.”
